Welcome to the "NATCA Skifest"
Web site!
The National Air Traffic
Controllers Association is a Labor union representing the
Air Traffic Controllers in the USA employed mostly by the
Federal Aviation Administration. The Headquarters for
"NATCA" is in Washington, D.C. The Skifest is
sponsored by the Southwest Region of "NATCA" which is
located in Euless, Texas near Ft. Worth.
It has been 20 years now
since Ed Mullin, one of the founding father's of the
National Air Traffic Controllers Association wanted to
provide some "fun & recreation" for the members of "NATCA".
For the past 19 years I have organized this social gathering
of Air Traffic Controllers. In 1992 three controllers
from Frankfurt, Germany wrote to me asking if they could
attend. Since then, the Skifest has grown into a truly
international gathering of Controllers, from the USA, to
Canada, and Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain,
Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom, Poland, Austria and The
Netherlands, they come from around the world to enjoy the
camaraderie that only Controllers know!
It has been 20 years of
great fun, but most importantly, the making of GREAT
FRIENDS. Though this Skifest is sponsored by NATCA, it truly
belongs all of you who have shared a chair lift while
attending the Skifest
I sincerely hope you have
found this web site informational. Please check out the
Photo Galleries, it tells our story the BEST!
